Long trip home and she is tired. I just talked to her on the phone - we will land on her tomorrow. She was on her way to bed - which, after nearly a month gone, I am sure will feel wonderful!
She has lots of medications. She also has a nurse coming in on a regular basis to help with her infections and such. She sounded very, very tired...but settled and relieved to be there. As she said, she is still taking everything in!
One request - she wants to talk to/see everyone but please, please keep it simple. She tires easily and rest is the most important part of her recovery at this point. Don't hesitate to call but please understand if she doesn't come to the phone...she will get back to you.

I'm so glad to hear that you're home! Sending bunches of healing wishes as you continue this brave journey. I hope that being home surrounded by your family who loves you and all your familiar surroundings will help in the healing process.
