Mom has been doing well the last couple of days. Since they got the nausea under control, she has been cautiously making her way up from the bottom of that pit. Yesterday, she ventured out to not one but TWO Dollar Stores LOL! It was important to her to get a card for Morgan - she was searching for one that played "Happy Birthday" (as Morgan finds the best part of her day is the song dedicated 'just to her' LOL!)....you know those cards...the ones that would drive you insane b/c, after they had been opened and shut so many times, the song played on regardless of whether it was closed or not. Well, couldn't find one! Morgan will never know...
Today, we stopped in this morning to deliver lunch - I won't get into the reason I had an entire roast pork dinner, complete with gravy, baked potato and brussel sprouts all but totally untouched as a 'left-over' - and Mom was up and around. And 'heartily' encouraging Al to go to Prescott, at least overnight. God love him...he is almost too worried to leave for more than an hour....she wanted to 'test' the waters and be on her own....he went but is likely worried sick.
We talked to her tonight and she was on her way to bed...tired. And relaxed. We'll be checking in early tomorrow morning on our way to have coffee with Ruth (don't forget Ruth LOL!).
