Mom went for her third chemo on TUesday. She also met with her oncologist. He did the internal exam and was confident the tumour is shrinking! He sat with Mom and Al and made it very clear ("Now, WHAT did I say Barb??") that things are going very well and he and her surgeon from before will be doing her surgery on November 30. YAY!!!
Sorry - short and sweet today but I wanted to update :-) Prayers and good thoughts most certainly have a part in her progress thus far - keep 'em coming!
In August of this year, my Mom, Barb (aka "The Aunt with the Class") was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer. We have been overwhelmed with calls, letters and e-mails and wanted a way to let everyone know how Mom is, day by day. So, I created this blog. Please, feel free to read and comment or e-mail her....she looks forward to hearing from everyone!
